ALICANTE CHIMICHURRI
Chimichurri is a sauce made of various green seasonings and primarily used for steaks. It originates from Argentina and was said to have been first concocted by 'Gauchos' (Argentinian cowboys). Each bottle has a distinct pattern and a sense of Argentinian patriotism which acts as a way of subtly indicating the sauce and brand's origin. There is also a rugged and organic feel to the bottles that harken back to the Gaucho cowboys of the land.
Iliada Olive Oil
A Greek olive oil, the bottle and art was designed to exute a sense of beauty and sophistication. The bottle material is that of a non-shiny black matte texture with the shape of a classic wine bottle. The other two primary colors used are gold and olive green. An olive tree sits at the base of the front and the leave explode upwards towards the brand name at the neck. On the back, a classic Greek symbol sits at the center and a hit of the leaves at the front engulfs the back. All the labels and weight sit at the base as well. all elements (except the labels) have a metallic/foil-stamped aesthetic.
Gone Girl
The plot of the book involves a married couple of which the husband is having an affair. Little does he know that his wife has always been a psychotic intellectual who devises a plan to frame her husband for her murder. As the twisted plot of the wife unwinds and deliberate clues start pointing in the direction of the husband as being the prime suspect, the entire town, and soon the country turns on him. The illustration on the cover symbolizes just that as the spotlight of scrutiny blares down on the husband. There is only a 2-color scheme applied here, that of black and red. This is to capture the darkness of the sstory and blood which is shed through framing and murder engulfed in the plot.
