Camp Longhorn

Silver | Graphis New Talent | 2024

Camp Longhorn is an overnight youth camp located outside of Austin, TX. They’ve been around since 1939 and have welcomed thousands of campers, ages 11-15, summer after summer. My concept going into this re-brand project was to use traditional camp navigational systems to help kids/teens “find their way” as individuals through the camp, the various activities, and new friends.

That’s the way the cookie crumbles

Silver | Graphis New Talent | 2024

Runner-Up | Creative Quarterly #75

The goal for this project was to create a custom typographical piece based on a chosen phrase using food. I chose the saying “That’s the way the cookie crumbles,” a saying usually expressed after something inconvenient or misfortune happens to an individual. I decided to tell a story of someone dropping a plate of gingerbread cookies.

Rayne Frog Festival

Rayne Frog Festival is a festivity celebrating all things frogs in Rayne, Louisiana. Named the frog city of the world, hundreds of visitors pour into the city each year to eat, enjoy live music, and even dance. For this promo piece, I drew inspiration from the city’s long history with frogs. So, I drew a pair of dancing frogs in a vintage style and worked the type to resemble old posters.
