Band of Champions End Credits
Best of Motion | National Student Show | 2024
Witness an extraordinary group led by a young Matthew Stafford, as they band Together from elementary to High School in pursuit of the top prize in Texas Football: winning a state championship. We needed to pick a movie from the Kanopy streaming service, nothing well known. From there, we decided to include the director, writer, producer, editor, and actors. Because mine is a documentary, I had the credits feature players to give attention to them. I also felt as if the names needed to be big and prominent for that bold football stance the film was going for. Overall, we made 9 frames that went to 45 seconds or close.
FamilyMart is Japan's second largest convenience store chain, behind Seven-Eleven Japan. This is a 15 second ad (simulating a collaboration with Across the Spider-Verse) for their lunch options. Each student was assigned a concise script focused on either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Accompanying these scripts were high-resolution images of food typically found in gas stations, which served as the visual basis for our advertisements according to the assigned meal. The task required us to create a precisely timed 15-second ad with a compelling concept, such as the Spider-Verse collaboration concept that I chose. As the project progressed, we were provided with a voice-over and tasked with seamlessly incorporating any script revisions that arose.

Dom Dom Burger
Dom Dom Burger is a Japanese fast food chain. They are being used here as an example for a concept fast food festival where motion graphic elements will be applied to show off the franchise. I opted to give Dom Dom a vibrant makeover, drawing inspiration from the nostalgic 1950s fast food era to inject some playful flair into the design. Additionally, I felt the original brand lacked a distinct identity. The revamped presentation showcases an array of exciting elements including an animated logo, a dynamic menu, a captivating lockup for the featured festival item, and lively festival promotions displayed on billboard mockups. As an extra perk, the Nasdaq billboard now proudly displays an advertisement for the festival, seamlessly integrating the trademark look of my Dom Dom design.
